Lauren Bush Lauren is the co-founder of the FEED Foundation which is dedicated to end hunger and feed one child at a time across the world. The foundation has been able to donate nearly 60 million free and nutritious meals globally to kids around the globe as of 2011.
Lauren Bush Lauren is the co-founder and Creative Director of FEED Projects, creating high quality products to help feed the world. Lauren started her work in this domain as an Honorary Spokesperson for the World Food Programme in 2004, where she assisted in the launch of the Universities Fighting Hunger initiative. She was also traveling to different countries at this point of time, where she came face to face with the realities of the impoverished populace there. In 2005, she designed the initial FEED bag designed to feed one child for one year through assistance from the World Food Programme. Consumers were really receptive to the idea and more than eager to be a part of such initiatives; they wanted to do their bit to give back to the community in a tangible and meaningful manner.
The work that she accomplished with FEED made her a well-known name; she was listed as one the most powerful entrepreneurs in 2009 and one of Inc. Magazine’s 30 under 20 in 2010.
